Spiritual Hooks are formed by other people and places hooking into your auric fields and tapping into your Pranic energy. This can be a conscious or subconscious process. Some hooks and then forming cords occur due to a Karmic agreement that is fated to be fulfilled in this lifetime. Others are much more by happenstance, visiting a dwelling that host lower vibration energies or attachment’s. Also encountering a person who is the personification of a psychic vampire who hooks into others repeatedly as they have a depleted life force.
Some vicarious behaviors that may energize the creation of a hook would be seeking approval from someone. Trying to save someone that you feel is suffering. Being a people pleaser and struggling with saying no to people. Having flowy boundaries that do not protect you is another way that unnamed hooks are formed . Eventually something will find its way in. Unless you remove your permission and stop the behavior that allowed them to hook into you in the first place, they can come back. You control the door.
Hooks cannot become implanted in you unless a door is open. Consciously or subconsciously you may have given over your permission for this person to puncture your aura, it’s more common than people think. An important part of removing hooks though is acknowledging that in some respect the aura is damaged and it needs healing. Perhaps you are seeking validation from this person or feel you can somehow save them, this is common with empaths. Maybe you are a people pleaser and have a hard time saying no to anyone. Unless you withdraw your permission and arrest the behavior that allowed them to hook into you in the first place they can come back and re-hook into you. An important part of removing hooks is acknowledging that you will not only have to remove the hooks but also retrieve the power that was taken and seal up your aura.
In most cases, specifically in adults, hooks and cords are the result of emotional trauma, unhealthy family interactions, toxic romantic relationships and grave conflicts with others. A cord is a mutual bond that is formed by a relationship as an energetic connection. This cord can be envisioned as a joining of two people at the navel by the cord. The cord can run between other chakras locations such as the heart and solar plexus. Much will depend on the type of relationship you have with this other person. Cords are lines of energy that carry communication, information, energies as well as memories. They function primarily as a spiritual tool, much like our chakras. We as spiritual beings create them and then destroy them as we move through cycles..
Every cord has a matching psychic imprint at each end that serves as an agreement between the two souls. This is part of our karmic agreements made prior to inhabiting the body. If you decide to remove a cord from your side of the relationship and it keeps coming back this usually means that the photo on your side that the cord attaches to needs to be removed, with the exception of Twin Flames. When the photos are strong enough they mimic magnetic locks. Removing them through energy work is mostly straightforward. We create and destroy psychic photos all the time as the aura is self-cleaning. The only difference here is we’re aware of the process and we know why we want to remove it.
Not all spiritual cords contain shared energy. The presence of a cord doesn’t mean that the energy is co-mingled. A spiritual cord can be there to exert control of someone by keeping a psychic imprint in place in the chakra, sort of like a placeholder. A Spiritual Cord can also be there to serve as a line of communication. This fused line may be created with someone else who is assisting you spiritually in this lifetime. This may be occurring on a higher dimension as well as transpiring here on earth. Additionally if two people have mirroring energy they don’t need a cord in order to be aware and connected to each other’s frequency as some people have very strong telepathic abilities so in this case a Spiritual Cord is also not required in this scenario.
A cord can contain love and a powerful soul-level connection between individuals. This is very much true between Twin-Flames, but that connection can also contain sorrow and frustration and really can never be broken, any attempt to do so will cause much pain and the cord will always grow back. In certain situations a cord can morph to include negative patterns and difficult dynamics of a relationship coming up through the shadow part of the soul. This second type of attachment is heavily karmic and may be resistant to energy work and cord cutting techniques as it may need to work through multidimensional issues through time.
A hook can potentially become a powerful energetic drain. A energy drain is a pinpointed open source in the auric field where energy is pulled away from one person’s vital energy stream and utilized by the person on the opposite end of the cord. In a sense the energy is hijacked from the other person without their conscious permission. Feelings of confusion, exhaustion or uneasiness may arise. There can be a feeling of merging with another and losing yourself, almost if you are losing yourself. I am not referring to the occasional meeting with another where the other person needs assistance for a brief period time. I am talking about a relationship that is powerful enough to accumulate energies from the other person in a constant flow. Some of the things that can trigger a hook to develop are close relatives, such as parents, children or siblings. Someone close to you who has an addiction. The addiction can be physical or mental. Abusers and narcissists. Whether the abuse was emotional, verbal, sexual, or physical is not of importance. It’s all energy and has the same impact. Someone with whom you’ve had a painful ending in the relationship-this situation can be lingering. Negative entities such as a ghost or evil spirits.
