In some spiritual and philosophical belief systems there is a concept of “soul age,” which suggests that a person’s soul can evolve and mature over time. While the specific characteristics of a baby soul and an adult soul can vary depending on the belief system some general traits are often associated with each.
Infant Souls- Survival, Physicality, Mortality, Envisioning the Soul, Involved in Routines, Being Naïve, Being Legalistic, Black and White-Dirty Harry Thinkers, Being Uptight, Serious Thinkers. Being troublemakers who are unable and unwilling to consider others. Retaliatory. Making fatal mistakes that infect Soul Families. Estrangements from family members. Adoptees, giving children up for adoption. Being a foster kid. Rags to riches lifetime.
Baby Souls- A baby soul is often seen as being new to the world and lacking in experience. They may be innocent, curious, and full of wonder, but can also be naïve and easily overwhelmed. They may have a more simplistic understanding of the world and may be drawn to tradition and structure. Needing things now. Struggling with patience and a broad understanding of how things fit together. Builders, engineers. Small amounts of the primary soul being distributed within the physical body.
Maturing Souls-Mature souls are known for getting themselves in the center of huge relationship disarray ad pain. They tend to be dramatic and similar to baby souls as they relish situations where they are misunderstood. They are moving away from the ego-driven life and victimhood. The difference is that they can see shades of grey and look like they are in their bodies. They have more depth and compassion in their eyes. They can connect with you and display understanding, tolerance, and good will. Sometimes there is a disconnect between the spiritual values they believe in and their actual behavior. They have a way of lacking neutrality even when they should know better. On the other hand mature souls can be brilliantly insightful and aware. They are quite sophisticated in their dress and social graces. They can be very romantic and charming but struggle with the everydayness of life.
Old Souls –As an old soul you understand things very deeply. You try to make sense out of everything even though you may be baffled about all of it. You are never interested to do something just because everybody else is doing it, you are unique. You do it because it drives you into a place that gives you peace. Being an old soul in this world is hard, that’s the one thing I can tell you from experience. A world where everyone is driven by money, power and influence old souls are in search of peace, a place they call home but have never seen. They are homesick for a place they have never been to. Old souls are rare and special. They won’t do something to appear special. They are much happier with a few meaningful relationships than people having lots of superficial relationships that don’t demand personal development. They hold the belief in the power of destiny and believe they will somehow end up in the place they are meant to be.
Pure Soul-The body with pure soul produces a high vibration. When you meet this type of person your soul recognizes it. Upon meeting this type of person you feel the presence of God and the feelings of love can be overwhelming. You can watch their deeds and know about them. They have pure love in their heart for every creature . They are always ready to give you guidance or help. They give free service for everyone and in return they don’t want anything from you. Their presence fill us with Divine joy and bliss.
Ancient Soul-There is a special kind of person in this world who is often misunderstood to themselves and others. These people tend to be the loners, the free spirits, and the innocent lovers. They see the world for all they can – and should be – although the world rarely sees them. They are dreamers, the people in tune with life. They are so intuitive of our emotions that they can frighten us. They frighten us not because of who they are but because of who we are not, what we lack. Ancient souls reach depths we cannot understand. They have a connection with God, with the Universe, with Nature and that’s why they are the people who will change the world. We often feel inferior, as if we have to strive to stay remotely close to their level, to be worthy of their love.
Infinite Soul– These souls types have no limits or boundaries in time, space, extent, or magnitude. This soul is often associated with a full Kundalini Awakening and the departure from the Reincarnation system. These lifetimes can often be very brutal and unrelenting as many of these souls may not return to earth on the learning curve and will most likely be moving on to other worlds to learn new lessons.
Reincarnation of the soul is directed by God into successive bodies to fulfill divine order, as we are born into bodies, and thus we can deduce it is the duty of souls to do their work in a body, and not remain idle after death.
