The awareness of how animals deeply touch us and how they serve as spiritual helpers isn’t a modern day phenomenon. Dating back 20,000 years, on the wall paintings of Cro-Magnon man, we can see how animals served as our earthbound soul companions. These paintings depict how man and animals are linked through supernatural forces such as guardians and shamans, and how their presence even escorts the soul into the afterlife. The paintings depict how the relationship with animals touches the soul, heals the human psyche, and how that relationship bridges the worlds of physicality and spirituality.
But what is it about the human-animal relationship that helps us transcend self-imposed limitations? That teaches us how to speak the language of spirit without the use of words? That shows us how to love; to feel empathy; to act compassionately, and how to overcome the biases created by our differences? What is it about our relationship with God’s creatures that allows us to experience grace and feel gratitude, and that makes it possible for us to experience unbridled joy in the simplest of things such as a touch, a look, a smile, a kind voice, or a pat on the back?
The answers to these questions will be found in the spiritual bond we have with them and how:
- They bring us back to the essential sacred space so we can feel and see our connection with all that exists.
- They return us to nature and to creation, not intellectually, but intuitively so we may experience our existence from higher dimensions of consciousness.
- They serve as a threshold between here and its limited understanding of existence, to therewhere the mystery, awe, and wonder of existence prevail.
- They help us recover what is real and true rather than what’s falsely created by our conditioning and the anomalies and limitations it creates.
Animals have a soul. They are on a journey in this physical world as are humans. Animal agree to soul contracts prior to their incarnation to experience everything in this physical world that they have agreed to do.
There are 5 different types of soul contracts an animal can enter into:
Karmic Contract– A Karmic Contract affects destiny within one incarnation. A Karmic Contract is limited to that particular lifetime and can be a segment of a larger soul commitment for multiple reincarnations within an owners life. An example would be a therapy dog that has the ability to sense seizures or trauma in their persons aura or body. This is an experience that would affect their human companions destiny. The animal karma (or souls choice) facilitated that outcome of the interaction with that human. The number of agreements made between a pet’s soul and their person determines the quantity of a pets lives an animal will share with their companion in single life or throughout multiple lifetimes.
Over Souling Contract– This occurs when the late pet’s contract is to direct a new or former pet from a higher perspective to their new human companion.
Walk In Contract-This occurs when the deceased pet’s energy moves into another pet’s body that has agreed to relocate when the departed pet’s energy reincarnates.
Soul Braiding-This is shared contract whereby the deceased pet returns as a spiritual roommate within the owners pet’s body.
New Body Contract-This occurs when the deceased pet’s energy that has recently passed returns in a new physical form.
The Animal Afterlife is the timeframe when a pet’s lifeforce energy resides in a sacred place after they have transitioned over a place known as the Rainbow Bridge. A pet’s soul can be “in-service” or live in this dimension forever or they can choose to reincarnate.
After the passing of your beloved pet hold faith in your heart and soul that your pet’s life force energy and love is never ending. You will see each other again in many ways.
