I have long used Epsom Salt in my health and beauty routines because of the way it made me feel after a hot steamy soak. Fresh, renewed, relaxed and grounded. Epsom salt, specifically Eucalyptus Epsom Salt has many holistic benefits. Epsom salt, known chemically as magnesium sulfate, has a myriad of healing benefits that can assist you in maintaining your health and wellness goals. It was first discovered in the waters of a town named Epsom, England. As early at the 17th century history has recorded people utilizing these salts for its holistic and natural properties. It once held the title of the most popular medicinal healing remedy in Britain.

Ritual and Healing Baths-Clearing the Aura
Our baths have long been somewhat of a spiritual experience for many. For highly sensitive and emphatic people and those spiritually gifted it can be a lifesaver. Sensitives and mediums tend to absorb other peoples energy fields. This is an unconscious process but it can issues with the persons light body and ethereal body. Epsom baths are one of the best ways I know to immediately clear the aura and other light bodies and balance the chakra system. Your aura also expresses your overall health, soul vibration and the harmonics and reflections of the surrounding energy fields. You can also put the Epsom salt under running water if you want it to dissolve more quickly. In the bath add 2 cups (about 475 grams) of Epsom salt to the water in a standard-sized bathtub and soak your body for at least 15 minutes.
Epsom salts soaks are an at hand and economical way to cleanse all the 6 bodies on a daily basis so you do not build up toxicity in your energetic fields. It has a grounding effect upon the body as it uses the opposing magnetic field of the conduction in water to resolve, renew and ground the aura and ethereal and physical bodies.

Epsom salt baths can reduce muscle soreness and relieve cramps. Athletes often find that soaking in an Epsom bath help in injury and strain. Drawing Out of Splinters and Thorns
Splinters can be sometimes difficult to remove without moving them further into the skin. This is when they can become infected. Soaking in an Epsom salt bath for a few minutes can reduce inflammation in the affected area, soften the splinter, and make it easier to remove.
Sprains and Bruises
Epsom salt will reduce the swelling of sprains and bruises in addition to icing and heat. Add 2 cups Epsom salt to a warm bath, and soak. It will ease pain and promote supportive healing.
In the Beauty
Epsom salt may be used as a beauty product for skin and hair. To use it as an exfoliate, just place some in your hand, dampen it and massage it into your skin. It is also a great addition to a facial wash since it opens and helps cleanse pores. A 1/2 a teaspoon (2.5) will do. You can combine it with your own cleansing cream or wash and massage into this skin. Some people find it’s a useful addition to facial wash, since it may help cleanse pores. It can also be added to conditioner and may help add volume to your hair. For this combine equal parts conditioner and Epsom salt. Work the mixture through your hair and leave for 20 minutes, then rinse for soft and healthy hair from scalp to ends.
Safety and Side Effects
While Epsom salt is generally safe, there are a few negative effects that can occur if you use it incorrectly. This is only a concern when you take it by mouth. Do not use more than is directed on the directions of your purchase. Start with a very small amount. A teaspoon.
