Just as there are seven colors in the rainbow and seven tones in a musical scale, each with its own different frequency, there are seven planes of existence on the spectrum of creation. The slowest speed of vibration occurs on the physical plane and the highest on the Heavenly Plane. From the Heavenly Plane energy returns to its source which is what is known as The Universal Life Force.
This universe has seven planes or dimensions. Three are ordinal or concrete and three are cardinal or abstract and one is neutral which provides the connection. The most ordinal plane is the physical our three dimensional earthly realm which is concrete energy. Its position is mirrored by the most cardinal plane the Heavenly Plane which is abstract energy. The astral plane which is concrete emotion is the middle ordinal plane. It is mirrored in position by the middle cardinal plane which emanates abstract emotion. The causal is the highest ordinal plane. It is mirrored in position by the lowest cardinal plane the mental plane. This mirroring balances our universe. The higher planes participate in pure energy, love, and truth. The lower planes are about manifesting those ideas. The fulcrum of the balance is the neutral akashic plane. It connects all the others through the Akashic or record-keeping aspect of each plane which feed into it.
There are etheric and nonsolid levels of the physical plane both lower and higher in frequencies than our physical bodies. Some people with psychic or mediumistic gifts are able to perceive them. The fact that they can be physically seen indicates that they are part of the physical plane. Most people cannot physically see what is nonphysical although we may translate our nonphysical perceptions into physical images. The etheric substance lower in vibration than the solid physical connects it with the Tao. This is the realm of devas or nature spirits. It could also be called the “Lower Physical Plane.” The etheric substance higher in vibration than the solid physical connects it with the astral. It is in the realm of what could be called the “Upper Physical Plane.” It is the domain of ghosts and some extraterrestrials. The ethereal life form of the “Higher Sentients” who lived on earth before the Fall of Man was also of the upper physical plane. What we consider solid substance as well as other vibrations that we can directly perceive such as light and sound exist in the “Middle Physical Plane.”
Physical Plane: This is the densest of the seven planes where humans presently reside. It is Three Dimensional. The physical plane refers to the visible reality of space and time as well as energy and matter. The physical universe in Occultism and Esoteric Cosmology is the lowest or densest of a series of planes of existence on the Physical Plane and we experience separateness in all its variety. We descend into the belief system that we are separate from one another. That we are not connected to animals, rocks, plants etc. It is thought that before we come to the planet for the first time we spend time and energy checking out several planets. We can cohabit within several species of plants and animals and even rocks and mineral formations. One reason for the widespread belief of this is among many all primitive peoples regarding sprites, elves, Fairies, furies, etc. is an acknowledgement at a very deep level of the presence of these infant souls investigating the planet. These new souls also help the planet rejuvenate itself and recover from conflict brought forth by the beings already inhabiting it and that have lowered their vibrational frequency.
New souls are looking elsewhere for planets to move onto besides the Earth. About the time a planet moves into the Mature Soul Level most new souls lose interest in it. It’s difficult to learn and deepen when almost everyone on the planet is well ahead of you. Someone is going to have to undertake a massive cleanup if the planet is going to survive and the infants don’t see why they should have to do the cleanup if they didn’t participate in the messiness. The planet will accelerate the growth of the population as the average soul age increases more rapidly as newer souls don’t continue arriving. This means that the souls that are here will become more and more willing to accept responsibility for things like the environmental issues, global warming, overpopulation etc. The very young souls aren’t on the Earth just visiting are assisting with rejuvenation and recovery behind the scenes. This leaves the rest of the population to healing the Earth and resolving problems man has created.
Astral Plane: The second plane of creation is the Astral Plane. Its medium is concrete emotional energy. It is where our consciousness is focused between lifetimes and when we’re finished with the physical plane our souls travel to. The astral world is a realm into which we pass at physical death and where we spend a period of time before moving on to a higher sphere. It is also believed to inhabit not just disembodied souls but also inhabitants of non-human nature, such as lower order of guides or Angelic, nature spirits and elementals (good and bad) which are beyond the realm of human vision. The Astral plane is a realm where the sprit goes when it leaves the body. It can leave through astral projection or when one finally dies. To better grasp this concept many thinkers refer to it as being either Heaven or hell. It is Populated by spirits and other beings which are not in their physical form but exist as energy.
There are different levels in the astral plane. Each of them is separated from the next by different vibrational frequencies. Think of it this way. Religion has taught us about the existence of Heaven and a Hell. These are just astral planes with different frequencies in their vibration with Hell having a lower frequency than Heaven. Everything in existence does so as vibrations. Whether it’s a solid or as a sound. When someone projects their energy to the Astral Plane they alter their energy frequency that allows them to move from low frequency realms like earth to other realms. To move to higher and higher levels of the astral plane one needs to keep increasing the frequency of their vibrations. The astral plane is not empty. It is home to spirits and other life forms in their non-physical state.
The Residents of the Astral Plane
Spirits, Angels, Elementals are just some of the beings that exist in the spirit world. They have different intentions and temperaments with some being kind and helpful and even playful. Others prefer to be alone while some are easily angered and even evil. Animals in their spirit form also exist here. You can find any type that exists on earth in its physical form. Some of these are friendly while some are very dangerous. The beings on the astral plane seems to keep to themselves have little interest in what goes on around them. They will normally keep to their level on the astral plane. These spirits have no idea of what goes on in other levels of the astral plane and are quite content with their own vibration. When an astral projection occurs one can move through the different levels of the astral plane, only then will they show interest. We might want to believe that there are no other living entities in the spirit world other than ourselves but that is not accurate.
Astral Plane Beings
- Guardian Angels and Spirit Guides-These are good natured beings that exist in the upmost levels of the astral plane. They will help you and offer guidance and protection. Many religions have different names for them but the common ones are angels, guardian angels and spirit guides. (Spirit guides spend a lot of time on the physical plane protecting human beings.
- Demons-These have free access to all levels of the astral plane. They include entities with highly negative energy and like to cause a lot of chaos. Demons are of different types. Some examples are the incubus.
- Elementals-Among the most common and type of elementals that we are aware of are beings made out of fire, earth, air and water. Some people have certainly heard of these. Other much rarer forms of elementals that exist in the astral plane include quasi and para. These are creatures of myth and legend that align themselves with nature. They act as its guardians and protectors. Examples are sprites, satyrs, dryads and pixies.
- Fiends-Wraiths-Unlike celestials, fiends exist as negative energy. They are to be avoided and will cause quite a bit of chaos. They are found mainly on the lower levels of the astral plane but can also venture up to the mid-levels.
- Vampires-Parasites- Common perception of vampires are creatures that will suck blood from you and turn you into a vampire yourself or kill you. But as we have seen to exist in the astral plane you have to be of pure energy. As such vampires are entities that feed off the energy of others in order to boost their own. They prey upon human beings who are sufferings, struggling with addictions or have experienced a tragedy.
- Human Spirits- These represent the energy of people who are dead. Spirits still have memories of their physical life but some have lost either all of it or a small portion of it. Some souls do choose to stay in this realm for various reasons after death. Some wait for family members, some decide to stay on this plane to continue to learn and deepen. It is these souls who can communicate clearly with a medium. They can alter the frequency of the planet with their energy as they really have no reason to still be roaming around on the earth.
Causal Plane: The third plane of creation is known as the Causal Plane. Its medium is concrete intellectual energy. The causal plane is above the astral plane and contains what is known as the time track. The time track is another way of saying that this is the region where the energy fields reside that represent our past and future experiences in the lower worlds. The Causal Plane is the level of heaven directly after the Astral plane. It is also known as the 3rd plane or plane of causation. It is the area of memory and the Akashic records which contain all past life records from the astral to the physical. The Causal Plane is the plane that many skilled psychics visit when reading past lives.
Akashic Plane: The Akashic plane is the Central Plane. This is the core neutral plane of creation that interconnects the other six planes. Here we find distilled knowledge of the universe is recorded there. This is the records generated of everything that happens in the universe as it occurs. The appearance is that all matter and energy have a sort of built-in digital recording device that stores its entire history in a photographic code. The records are actually windows into our cosmic past. They records show events exactly as they were experienced so the information within them is raw. It is not clarified or understood and assimilated until a consciousness takes the initiative in doing so. Once it is fully assimilated the information is stored on the Akashic Plane.
Mental Plane: The fifth plane of creation is called the Mental Plane. Its medium is abstract intellectual energy that emphasizes truth. The infinite soul who incarnated as Lao-tzu taught from this plane. The mental plane is often depicted as being above the causal plane but both are really aspects of the same realm of the mind. What we call the mental plane is simply the higher aspect of the mind ,the region of pure thought .It is distinguished from the lower mind which is associated with our past and future experiences. Because the mental plane is the highest level of existence conceivable to the human mind it is often regarded as the ultimate spiritual realm and the true home of God or The First Tier of Heaven.
Messianic Plane: The sixth plane is the plane of unconditional love. Its medium is abstract emotional energy, emphasizing love. The infinite soul who incarnated as Jesus taught from this plane. On the Messianic Plane you experience agape which is complete, total love for all beings. At this level you comprehend the oneness of all and recognize that love for the other is in fact love for oneself. You have direct emotional contact with the Divine and understand at an deep emotional level the Infinite. You continue blending until you have enfolded around 100,000 souls. Jesus Christ taught from the Messianic Plane of Existence.
Heavenly Plane: The seventh plane otherwise known as the Heavenly Plane is the highest plane of creation. Its medium is pure and abstract kinetic energy. We experience the Heavenly Plane just before fully refocusing our awareness in the Tao. The infinite soul who incarnated as Buddha taught from this plane. At the lower levels of the Heavenly Plane you can merge with all other Essences, Entities and Cadres of sentient beings. As you rise higher you join with non-sentient beings such as animals, plants, minerals, planets, suns and the space between all the matter in the Universe. It is here where you comprehend at the most instinctive level the infinity of Source. in the final levels you combine with the total consciousness of the Divine and your journey is complete.
A soul may remain within the Planes of Existence for as long as you would like to. In this space you are no longer “You” as you existed on Earth, but are at one with the Divine. You are Infinite. At any time any souls may splinter off and begin a new journey. A soul may return to the Earthly Plane to experience another lifetime again. A soul may choose to remain within the Whole and never leave again. If a soul does choose to cast itself off and make the circle again it will almost always select a new Role. A different energy, a changed frequency or a new Essence and go to a different planet or back to the Earth or choose not to take the physical route and remain separate from the universe. In this way we continuously bring back a wide variety of feelings and understanding and deepen our soul experience through existing on the different planes.
