In the very last moments of human life, when the physical body appears dead and lifeless, everything you did, said, thought and felt in this lifetime that has just ended will pass in extraordinary clarity before your eyes and mind. You will see and experience the absolute fairness and justice of everything that has happened to you in your life and how everything unfolded exactly as it should have done according to the constant laws of cause and effect, action and reaction that is otherwise known as Karma.
You, will essentially never die. The real “you” of your being will never actually be dead. The only part of you which will actually die when the transition occurs is your physical body. Your astral body, otherwise known as the Aura or Astral Shell will be the only trace of who you were on the Earth. This shell will eventually disintegrate when the very last particle of the dead physical body dissolves. The Silver Cord that connects your physical body with its vitalizing Universal Life Force will snap and separate from the chakras and the other subtle bodies and this is what brings about actual physical death. This severing causes such a spiritual shock to the soul that the following stage of the process will then take place unconsciously to yourself.
You will then unconsciously enter into the realm of The Astral Plane which is located in the Fourth Dimension. This realm is where most astral beings go to process and accept their deaths. This realm contains many categories of various vibrational energies. After you have left your physical body you will wake up in your Astral Body. This body inhabits the specific region in which the Astral frequency is vibrating at a rate that is compatible to the energetic components of your Astral Body. This is sometimes called the soul’s “Home Frequency”. During our lives here on Earth we determine our vibratory rate by our mental thoughts, personal attitudes and spiritual understanding as well as our actions -so be nice. Fear and resentment produce low vibrations. Devotion and compassion and love produce high vibrations. You go to where you lived as they say.
How long the shell remains on The Astral Plane will be determined by several factors but primarily by the strength of the attachment to the earth and its material resonation that was dominant during the life that had just been just lived. What takes place there is the separation between your earthly and material nature and your higher more spiritual vibration. The earthly, three dimensional side of you is not permitted to enter the Heavenly Planes and needs to be cast off in this the intermediate state of the Astral Plane. The more spiritually ascended the soul the is the faster the process of dissolution of the shell is. It might happen in a matter of minutes or it may take several hours, days, weeks, months. It may even require years to complete this process depending upon the dominance of the souls attachment to the earth.
You will not have any conscious awareness of this transformation at this time. When the separation between the Earthly self and the Higher Self eventually happens this is known as the “Second Death”. This may inevitably cause a further psycho-spiritual shock to the soul and so you will then enter into what is called the “maturation state” for a period of profound rest and inner recuperation and healing. It is not known how long process will last. For some folks it is far longer than we might think it will be relative to time and space on the Fourth Plane. The elements of your Earthly nature that are now united into the Astral Shell still reside on the Astral Plane. Your soul has moved on and joined itself with your Higher Self in union with the Divine.
The integrated aspect of the soul will release the Astral Shell because it cannot be integrated into the eternal Higher Self. Historically our organized religions and belief systems were created and disseminated as a protective measure against our so called ‘Second Death’. The spiritual life of our classical and ancient religions glossed over this detail in a profound sense of the word. Christianity does this especially in its black and white description of Heaven and Hell and separates human beings from the tree of spiritual nourishment and wisdom.
The abandoned lower vibrational Astral Shell may persist in the Astral World for some time before it is overtaken by feelings of severe pain, anger and emptiness. This shell can persist for years by pulling energy from the living in the Third Dimension. Acting somewhat as a psychic vampire pulling energy from the Earthly realms as it is needed. The Shell does this by preying upon beings that are weaker in their auric frequency than itself so it can retain some sort of a form and derive meaning. In the early stages of death it may be able to acquire enough energy by appearing as a ghost or spirit as the soul of a departed relative or friend. This shell contains the lower level Akashic imprints which are not an accurate depiction of someone’s most recent lifetime on earth. The representation is deformed and the information will be misfired.
Kind and loving people also leave behind small traces of the Astral Shell that is compiled of their personal qualities, experiences and energetic frequencies that have failed to integrate into the Higher Self. Those energies begin to distill into a stream of Karmic frequency over the passage of time. Any remaining spiritual conflicts will reemerge in the next lifetime as personality traits in a new body. This is the natural order of things within the reincarnation process. A human being who lives a life that incorporates the love, kindness and respect for their fellow man leaves little or no Astral Shell of any kind behind to linger on the Astral Plane. Those souls that undergo a Kundalini Awakening while in a body on Earth also leave no Astral Shell behind as all Karma has been resolved through their awakening and they ascend into the Divine. A grounded human being that has died will regularly look at their lives from a moral and ethical perspective in a fearless and honest way. They will take responsibility for the choices they made and accept the consequences and outcomes that came from those choices. Having accepted their worth as a human being and soul they will strive to become a better human being in their upcoming life. In this way the strength and content of their potential Astral Shell is strongly lessened.
Attempts to contact and communicate with the newly departed through mediumship or other forms of spiritism is one of the most destructive and harmful things that a living human being can do to another human soul who is in their after death state. This a very vulnerable time for the soul’s transition. It is impossible to summon another person’s Higher Self which is the actual soul. Impossible. It’s much too far away and is unknowable in its wholeness. Dishonest mediums will proclaim that they are speaking to an actual soul. Sometimes it is true but most of the time not. It is only their ‘Astral Shell’ that remains in the ether on the Fourth Plane. By providing the Astral Shell with additional energy from the Three Dimensional Plane it holds back the natural course of after death events and therefore intensifies the traits life experiences that the late individual was unable to integrate into their higher self. Very damaging unless it happens naturally. A lot of mediums and clairvoyants without this knowledge or spiritual ethics will use their gifts to connect with this shell. Please realize that this is not the actual soul. It is the remnants of the soul. The lining. The skin. The very act of attempting to summon the dead reveals a deep and abiding disrespect for deceased. Physical death is a natural process. Why should someone we love be interfered with and called back into a regressive and densified existence.
The Astral Shell can be overtaken by very powerful parasitic and evil energy that seek to deceive the living and bring about their destruction. These more advanced and sophisticated demonic beings can present themselves to the naive as spirit guides, angels and master teachers that are often channeled through mediums and psychics. These entities are known to deliver precise, stunning and identifying spiritual information to those that are spiritually densified and who think they can manipulate spiritual laws and move on the surface of authentic spiritual work. There really are no shortcuts in the spiritual realm. Talking to the dead does not mean you are spiritual. It just means you are easily manipulated by the Demonic and do not think critically. It goes against spiritual law to disturb the dead who are processing their lives. If they are able to speak it is considered a blessing and a gift from God and they come in on their own. Any communication must have spontaneous and organic roots. It should never be forced. It can never be forced. As with most things in our society that are geared towards supplicating the ego it can never be manipulated. Not in the truest sense. Without the gift of discernment you cannot know the difference between an Astral Shell, a demon or an actual soul.
Once the Astral Shell is invaded with unnatural and lower vibrational energies it can be motivated by desires of the ego and become extremely destructive. It is by its own definition designed and cunning in its nature and develops an abiding pursuit of its repressed desires. The existence of these Astral Shells that are filled with the energy of the living are the source of tales the Undead and Evil Spirits. Most mental mediumship contact involves the Astral Shell. The shell has the ability to automatically repeat certain facts, details, personal characteristics which a person possessed during their lifetime through its vibration. There is no soul present in the Astral Shell. That is why direct channeling in nearly impossible to do because of the varying stages that a soul can be in. I could write quite a bit here, but it is safe to say that it is very important to allow someone to process their death before communication is attempted. Don’t be fooled by the shows on television. Modernism does not apply to the spiritual process of death.
The Astral Shell will remain on the Astral Plane for complete distillation until there is nothing left. It is a soulless form and any surviving intelligence is very basic and homogenized. It has no individual consciousness intrinsically. It is just the commingling of the remnants of our earthly vibrations from the lifetime that has comes to an end. The shell will remain on the Astral Plane until all its remaining passions and energy completely dissolves. This process may take weeks, months and even years to finish its process. It is primarily determined by the force and amount of material connection that remained in the Astral Shell at the time of passing.
The Higher Self will eventually emerge from this metamorphosis and enter into what is called the Heavenly Plane. Consciousness returns at the onset of this stage. Awareness sharpens. This is not a location or a plane but a “state of being”. Ascension into Heaven is a perfect state of the bliss, peace and joy. No pain or suffering is allowed in this plane. No sorrow, disappointment or suffering or pain can inhabit this space. In Heaven there is no memory or awareness of having died or even of there being such a thing as death. There is no self or them. Only us. We. Peace and joy and unconditional love is the only vibration. The duration of a souls stay in Heaven will be in accordance with the amount goodness that was accrued during the previous lifetime. This is what sustains and prolongs the Heavenly experience. This will vary greatly from person to person depending on how they spent their time on Earth. For some folks this may last a thousand years or even longer. For others it may last only several hundred years or decades. Some souls return to Earthly life after only a few years, especially if the attraction and desire for physical and material experience is still a strong force within their soul. Even some return as soon as they can. Some souls can’t wait to get down here.
Some souls choose to stay in the Heavenly State. Others souls stay eventually draws to an end that coincides with the process of the reincarnation of the soul, from conception then through physical pregnancy and finally culminating in a rebirth on the earthly physical plane. You will then have already shed and discarded the personality and persona of the previous lifetime and will begin a journey into a new life experience. You will be incarnated in a new body and as a newly minted person. You will be shaped and determined by your past lifetimes and the future just coming ahead of you. At this point of the process your journey of inner deepening and unfolding experiences continues.
Your physical death is not your final story in any chapter and your birth is not the only beginning you will experience. Your soul and its life force is a continuum of learning, love and beautifully deepening experiences that will persist in these cosmos until we all return as one with the Divine.
